Russia’s VTB group sells US business to managers
MOSCOW, Sep 3 (PRIME) -- Russian banking group VTB has sold VTB Capital, a U.S. division, to company managers, a VTB official told PRIME on Monday.
“Group VTB sold VTB Capital Inc., New York to managers of the company on August 31, 2018. The company was renamed to Xtellus Capital Partners and became an independent player on the stock and fixed-yield markets,” VTB said.
According to VTB, it signed a broker-dealer agreement with Xtellus Capital Partners for operations on the U.S. market.
